In March 2024, us as creative directors of the brand, together with other Sfrido Etate partners, launched the brand in New York, inside an exclusive venue: a private townhouse in front of the Metropolitan Museum.
The choice was not casual.
The Museum Tables, designed by A617 and presented in such occasion, are in fact the manifesto of the values and process of the brand. The top of each side table imparts a new shape and life to these unique off-cuts of natural stone, which were originally stored after the restoration project at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York for use in the Greek & Roman Galleries. Conceived and designed as a union of contemporary forms and interlocks, the two red and green Marinace stones acquire an inedit interpretation. The customers of Sfrido Estate will be able to bring home not only a design piece but also an object of history and memory.
The piece also explain one of the two business units of the brand: design and supplies.
For the design part; Sfrido Estate offers a collection where each piece is a testament to sustainability and uniqueness. These designs aren’t just products, but stories carved in stone, representing a conscious shift from opulence to a lifestyle that celebrates the heritage and future of natural stone.

On the occasion of Milan Design Week 2024, Sfrido Estate introduces its debut collection that showcases design ingenuity, with each piece embodying a bold modern spirit and finesse in stone craftsmanship. The ensemble features the nuanced elegance of the Museum Table by a617 in both nano and small variations , the sculpturally minimalist Bench by Rafael Prieto, the architecturally precise Kuo Duo Shelf, and the Marmo Bolli Table by CARA \ DAVIDE, a masterclass in material juxtaposition. Additionally, Martina Guandalini’s Tray and Vase echo the collection’s ethos of functional beauty, while Sfrido Estate’s own Natural Split coffee table and planter contribute to the narrative with their organic forms and textural depth.
